In line with the state’s full commitment and efforts to support and localize the agricultural pesticides industry—considered one of the key goals of Egypt’s latest development strategies—the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture held a meeting today, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, under the title: "Localizing the Pesticide Industry in Egypt" The meeting was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Alaa Farouk, and was attended by: The esteemed scientist Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Meguid, Chairman of the Pesticides Committee at the Ministry of Agriculture The esteemed scientist Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Saleh, Deputy Chairman of the Pesticides Committee The esteemed scientist Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abdel Sattar, Deputy Chairman of the Pesticides Committee Prof. Dr. Adel Abdel Azim, President of the Agricultural Research Center The meeting also witnessed the presence of several prominent investors and was notably attended by Mr. Nady Abdel Raouf Ali Mohamed, owner of Nady Abdel Raouf Ali Mohamed Factory, and The Egyptian Company for Seeds and Pesticides, with Mr. Nady Abdel Raouf Ali Mohamed, Chairman of the Board, who is a key supporter of all efforts that contribute to stability and development in the field of agricultural fertilizers and pesticides.
